A patent has a specification where the invention must be described in sufficient detail. For a patent that will be examined, there are also claims. Claims define the metes and bounds of a patent. For something to be patentable it must be, at least, new (novel) and non-obvious. These are two of the major hurdles one must overcome for patentability. ⠀ #patent #patents #patentlawyer #intellectualpropery #IP #IPattorney #trademarks #copyright #brandprotection #innovation #entrepreneur #smallbusiness #invention #lawyer #law #artists #creativeexpression #technology #branding #authors #purchasepowerNH #womanowned #inventor
